About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned IT Security Integration Specialist responsible for overseeing the administration and enhancement of diverse security systems. This role demands a proactive approach to monitoring, managing, and improving security infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and protection.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation, troubleshooting, and enhancement of security technologies; details on specific platforms provided upon application.
- Actively monitor and address security system alerts and escalate complex issues within agreed service levels.
- Work collaboratively with both in-house teams and external partners to resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct detailed investigations and report on significant security incidents.
- Manage requests for changes and service inquiries, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Execute regular backup operations and schedule updates to maintain system integrity.
- Document system configurations and updates comprehensively.
- Compile regular service performance reports tailored to client specifications.
- Uphold stringent security protocols and best practices across all projects.
Non-Technical Duties:
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients regarding all IT security-related inquiries.
- Lead and assist in resolving security incidents, demonstrating strong leadership and team collaboration.
- Maintain a client-oriented focus with exemplary interpersonal communication skills.
Required Technical Proficiency:
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or certifications in key security technologies including but not limited to:Two-factor authentication systems like RSA and SafeNet
Comprehensive network security solutions including Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, and AlgoSec.
Intrusion detection systems like Trend Micro and McAfee
Access management systems such as CyberArk and BeyondTrust
Web security gateways from Symantec and McAfee
Data monitoring and protection tools like Imperva and Tripwire
Expertise in managing F5 Web Application Firewalls and McAfee NDLP
- Applicants should provide details of certifications and relevant experience with these technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- A minimum of five years in IT infrastructure management and support.
- Strong foundational knowledge in IP networking and operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a deep interest in advancing information security.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
