Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and evaluate the implementation of IT controls and governance in the Asia, Oceania and Middle East regions.
- Lead the development and implementation of specific action plans aimed at strengthening IT control and governance align with Headquarters directions.
- Conduct IT risk assessments (heat mapping) for each region, propose risk mitigation measures (prioritization) to management, and create mid-term investment plans.
- Regularly monitor the progress of IT initiatives and investment plans, check them consistency with IT policies, and support the planning and implementation of measures in accordance with the headquarters and local policies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT investments and aim to maximize investment return.
- Support management's decision-making and contribute to improving the efficiency and speed up management decisions.
- Implementing IT control and governance that takes into account the different IT literacy levels in each country and Asia region.
- As Regional Headquarter (RHQ) for the Asia region, establish and maintain smooth communication and build good relationship with Nikon headquarters IT team (ITHQ) and subsidiaries.
- Build and maintain good relationships with employees of Nikon Singapore and local sales companies, to provide various guidance and consult to improve IT literacy and ensure compliance with Nikon policy and local regulations.
- As Asia Regional Head (RHQ), identify and understand the IT needs (pain points, gain points) of sales companies within the Asia region.
- Translate Japan Headquarter directions, strategy and policies to English for Asia Region subsidiaries.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progression reports/ meetings to update to Headquarter in Japan.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer/ Computer Science/ Information Technology & Systems or equivalent
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience in IT Governance and Information Security in Asia Regional, in Multi-national companies
- Excellent knowledge in IT Governance and able to implement the strategy to Asia, Oceania and Middle East regions
- Experienced in various Server Operating Systems, LAN / WAN, data storage devices (SAN, NAS, VTL, etc.), IT Infrastructure Virtualization (Type 1, Type 2, Cloud)
- Strong in system development life cycle, application development best practice and change management framework
- Possess strong organizational skills and leadership abilities
- Able to work with tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to communicate with cross-functional and able to deal with global business users at all levels
- Willing to travel throughout the region 10~15%
