Regional IBGO COO – Finance team is a dynamic and relationship driven team. We value teamwork, inclusivity, transparency and collaborates respectfully with other IBGO locations, IBGO Regional Teams and Group Finance to effectively manage Group IBGO cost base.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities to support in implementing governance and consistency of Group IBGO’s NCA, as well as drive up the adoption of NCA regionally across 5 other core locations (Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, India & Indonesia):
- Support Reg IBGO COO Finance team to:Set in place and execute governance over NCA for IBGO
Identify sources of data feeds & dependencies of volume, MTK data and cost
Document methodology, assumptions and dependencies by product variants used in NCA regionally
Identify challenges or outliers in approach
- Work with Group Finance, Location and Regional IBGO teams to:Understand computation methodology and drivers
Facilitate the resolution of gaps (if any)
Review for standardisation and consistency regionally
- Analyse NCA data for potential opportunities for productivity
- Assist in Strategic Cost Management (SCM) Monthly Reporting and TrackingExecute good control governance over SCM reporting process for both FTE & Cost Savings
Exercise good change control over updates to the list of Planned saves in the Repository & Initiative Trackers, ensuring data is accurate and complete
Ensure accurate and effective SCM governance and reporting - Target vs Planned vs Actuals, in Country Cadences and IBGO SCM Forums
Support preparation of SCM CEO Review and Institutional Banking Group Operations (IBGO) SCM Forum slides (including internal references)
- Assist in IBGO Budget & Forecast ExercisesSupport the team in the data collation and accuracy of all data points across 14 locations
Support preparation of Budget and Forecast slides (including internal references)
Requirements
- Degree holder preferably Accounting trained with 5-10 years of professional experience in program management, governance and change management work experience
- Detail oriented and able to draw insights from data and good at collation of large data sets via excel
- Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders within IBGO, Group Finance and Locations
- Ability to navigate in a complex environment, work in ambiguity and achieve outcome
- Pro-active to identify and follow-up on issues to resolution
- Excellent O365 skills (ppt and excel functions e.g. pivot table, chart & diagram)
