Job Summary:
The Manager of Fundraising will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase donations and support for New Life Stories. This role will oversee fundraising campaigns, donor relations and event planning to meet the financial goals of the agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent communication skills, and a passion for our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to secure funding from individuals, corporations, foundations and the public to meet annual revenue goals
- Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors while identifying and engaging potential new donors
- Grant Writing: Draft proposals, presentations and donor communications.
- Donor Management : To track, evaluate and analyze acquisition of donors/donations to align with the agency’s goals
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities and financial performance for Senior Management and Board of Directors
- Budgeting: Develop and manage the fundraising budget, ensuring cost effective use of resources
- Compliance: Implement and ensure compliance to best practices in fundraising, donor relations and data protection
- Any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership position with a proven track record of meeting fundraising goals
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with donors/stakeholders.
- Meticulous, excellent organizational skills,
- Proficiency in donor management software, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Experienced in budgeting for fundraising, donor relations and communications programs.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices, industry trends and regulatory requirements
