Job Responsibilities
- Managing and leading the project team.
- Detailed project planning and control including developing and maintaining a detailed project plan, coordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work.
- Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
- Final approval of the design specification.
- Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
- Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
- Managing project training within the defined budget.
- Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities.
- Managing consultancy input within the defined budget.
- Providing status reports to the project sponsor and Board.
- Liaises with, and updates progress to, project board/senior management.
- Identifying training needs and devising and managing training programmes.
- Definition and management of the User Acceptance programme.
- Monitoring project progress and performance.
Job Requirements
You are passionate, creative, an achiever, highly self-motivated and an independent individual who is detailed oriented, possess strong skills relevant to the scope of work; able to work in a team and independently, possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to perform under tight schedule and pressure. - Diploma/Degree in Architectural, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
- At least 7-8 years' working experience in Project Estimation and Tendering.
- Carpentry/Joinery works' experiences will be an added advantage.
- Possess class 3 driving licence preferred.
- Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors and vendors to complete projects effectively.
- Local working experience needed.
