Job Brief:
Experienced Piping Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines for Plant CAPEX and MOC projects. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project cost and quality from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Proposal study and technical review with Company representatives
- Site survey and execution feasibility check
- Piping material specifications and pipe wall thickness calculations
- Valve and piping specialty items technical specification and data sheets
- MTO’s for all valves, piping bulk, pipe supports and piping specialty items
- Spring support data sheet and special pipe support details
- Piping GA, plot plan, equipment layout, nozzle orientation drawing, isometrics
- 3D modelling of equipment and piping
- Prepare SOW and RFQ for contractor and vendor quotations
- Prepare cost estimates for the project
- Prepare technical bid analysis for contractor/ vendor award recommendation
Requirements and skills:
- Proven working experience as a Piping Engineer with at least 5 years experience working in an EPC enviroment
- Excellent knowledge of design and 3D modelling software
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management and supervision skills
- Decision making ability and leadership skills
- Time management and organization skills
- BS degree in Engineering or relevant field
