Job Requirements:
- To work with clients to understand their needs and translate their ideas and goals into reality
- To establish technically sound and cost-efficient design solutions and value engineering opportunities based on client needs
- Expert in the Mechanical engineering discipline, covering client’s requirements from first thoughts to a concept design and further development to the project’s facility and production implementation
- Passionate in monitoring, developing, and communicating the latest industry and client technology trends for the Mechanical engineering discipline and identifying opportunities to expand our technical advantage
Job Scope:
- Attend client meetings to understand their expectations, and project requirements and discuss design solutions
- Develop a conceptual design for the Mechanical engineering discipline for projects in the Global Business Unit Advanced Technology Facilities (ATF) that includes the Semiconductors, Photovoltaics, Batteries, and Flat Panel Displays Industries.
- You interact with other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to drive the development of Best-Known Methods (BKMs), alternative methodologies, and future technologies for the Mechanical discipline that are instrumental to the deliverables for large/complex Advanced Technology Facility projects with our global proposal and project teams
Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge and understanding of all stages of engineering design and construction for Mechanical systems from preliminary design to handover
- Extensive knowledge of local and international codes and regulations for design implementation
- Extensive knowledge of best methods for design and construction implementation
- Technical knowledge and understanding of project execution processes in a fast-track environment
- Affinity for technical problem-solving
- BIM model integrated design experience and a good understanding of design for safety principles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
