Role:
- Liaise with Manager/ Superintendents for prompt supply of technical spare parts or vsl repair jobs or annual services.
- Handle purchasing activities as well as arranging logistic to connect the spares to the vessels.
- Tally Accounting system and Issue PO to vendor.
- Send enquiry/ requisitions to suppliers for owners asset purchases and as required.
- Liaise with vessels on any information required pertaining to requisitions.
- Follow up with quotation from suppliers.
- Prepare purchase order and delivery order/ proforma invoices/ packing list, etc.
- Assist in logistics arrangement (air freight/ sea freight/ land transport/ sea transport)
- Liaise with agents and ships for supply of spare parts and repair services to vessels at convenient ports.
- Document filing / printing of Invoices.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager/ Superintendents/Line manager.
Handling Enquiries and Logistics:
- Address enquiries related to vessel repairs, services, and technical supplies worldwide as directed by Superintendents.
- Provide delivery notes, proforma invoices, and packing lists to vendors for delivery.
- Assist in logistics arrangements, including air freight, sea freight, land transport, and sea transport.
- File documents, verify vendor costs, seek client approval for additional costs, and submit to accounts for invoicing completed jobs.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience, preferably in the Shipping Industry or Marine Repair Companies.
