A leader in the provision of corporate and industrial printing equipment is currently seeking to employ an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead financial activities for monthly/ quarterly closing
- Provide strong analytics for forecast and planning - conduct variance analysis to discover opportunities for improvements in areas such as order booking/shipment/backlog, price increases, channel changes (distributor versus direct), currency fluctuation impacts and exposures, operating expenses
- Risk opportunities management
- Development and modeling of analysis which provides root cause of variances.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and variance reports as required, making extensive use of PC tools such as OneStream, Business Intelligence (BI) and Excel.
- Lead and assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification and implementation of financial systems as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
- Possess at least 2 years of Financial Analyst experience in a fast-paced organization or 2 years of experience as an Accountant
- Possess prior experience working in a global environment with good understanding of global processes and transaction flows
- Proficient in using financial reporting tools such as OneStream, Oracle, BI and Microsoft Excel to improve productivity in providing informative, timely, and accurate financial presentations.
