Job Objectives
To support the applications used by the bank’s treasury division, as well as initiatives in Data Centre/Application Migration
Key Responsibilities
· Work as System Analyst in the field of IT Application development, maintenance, delivery and hands-on experience in IT infrastructure setup.
· Apply both classic (waterfall) and Agile (Scrum) methodologies in project execution.
· Analyse user (front to back office) requirements and formulate functional and technical design documents.
· Understand user/stakeholder requirements and formulate technical design documents.
· Co-ordinate with vendor on specifications, delivery testing, and implementation.
· Implementation of middle and back-office systems for Group Global Markets
· Manage end to end testing for users with vendor to internal Bank’s systems.
· Work with internal Change Control Management for deployment of changes.
· Work with internal infrastructure and security teams on implementations.
· Prepare and track the outstanding issue list and communicate to key stakeholders.
· Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
· Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Key Requirements:
· More than 10 years working experience, with at least 5 years of project development/business analysis and projects/changes implementation experience in the financial industry, direct exposure in treasury business is preferred.
· Strong technical development background and experience with full project life cycle.
· Technical skills required are SQL Server, Oracle DB, Linux, Perl, Java, Aldon, Jira, Remedy, Control-M.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
· Strategic and analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
· Setting up of connections to the other Interface Systems, batch processing, IBM MQ
· Migration of Environment including restoration and masking of data
· Preference given to candidates with capital markets and vendor-based software delivery experiences
Preferred Requirements:
· Good knowledge of treasury products – FX, Rates, Reuters Market Data platform and Dealing Voice Recording/Playback and Margin Trading.
· Experiences in Datacentre Migration, implementing dealing system.
· Experience in Reuters, IPC vendor-based solution, DCI, Marginman, FinIQ.
· Windows and Linux Shell Scripting.
· Technical understanding of API, Messaging Queue and .NET
· Experience in Excel macro development
