Our client, a leading MNC in the design and manufacture of audio equipment and audio-related devices, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated candidate to join them team as an Assistant/ Service Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely pre and post sales services to customers.
- Provide repair and maintenance work on the electronics equipment (microphones, RF wireless system, headphones, audio equipment) in accordance with approved quality standards - adjust, align, replace and/ or repair equipment and components following equipment manuals and drawings and using welding tools and other hand and power tools.
- Answer customer inquiries and requests via phone/ email.
- Verify warranty eligibility for repairs based upon requirements and information provided.
- Properly document all repair/ non repair actions.
- Carry out data analysis, find problems or hidden dangers through maintenance data, and give corresponding solutions or idea.
- Monitors all test gears calibration on regular basis and ensuring internal safety regulations.
- Maintain stock spare parts as per company guidelines, ensuring monthly stock count and facilitating yearly audit.
- Monitor repair cases and ensure that all repair cases to be complete in Turn-around-time as per global guidelines.
- Develop Accredited Service Provider (ASP) skills through workshops & training on quality of repair work & identify counterfeit products. Provide ASP with Technical Support to handle all repair issues.
- Provide back-up support during the absence of Service Specialist.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Wireless technology, Logistics, Sound Light & Video
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience in using ERP systems preferably JDE is advantageous
