We are working with a top global investment banking client to look for a candidate who has experience within capital markets/investment management and enjoys working in a cross-collaborative environment in a business management (administrative) capacity.
This position is on an initial 1-year contract which will be extendable or potentially convertible.
Responsibilities
- Provide support across various areas such as sales and product initiatives, coordination of weekly investment forums and meetings (including recording and distribution of meeting minutes), data analysis support for generation of reports
- Prepare quality presentation materials and any ad-hoc investment/marketing content for circulars and dissemination
- Build strong relationships across various cross-functional teams and foster strong collaboration
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience within capital markets, investment management, or asset management (exposure to financial markets product will be highly ideal)
- Proficiency across Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Candidates with analytical skillsets or experience using various analytical tools will be highly beneficial
- Exposure to various systems such as Bloomberg, Markitwire, Murex, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (ability to speak confidently with the proactiveness to get things done independently where possible)
