ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare project tender submissions, including bills of quantities which involves quantity take-off, check tender drawing, material specifications, sourcing for suppliers & sub-contractors, measuring and estimating costs used in the tendering process.
- Perform quantity take-off and prepare cost estimation for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review and understand all plans and specifications; track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets.
- Calculation and highlighting on drawing additional and omitting items for VO Preparation of monthly Progress Claims.
- Provide AutoCAD Drafting support and coordinate drawing/technical issue with assigned project team at every project stage.
- Prepare Electrical AutoCAD Drawings for submission & approval – Shop Drawings for site construction and As-Built Drawings.
- Prepare drawings independently and review own prior submissions.
- Maintain all revisions of project drawings, and update drafting logs.
- Conduct site survey to verify site installations and As-Built Drawings, when necessary.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate measurement and costing of project activities.
- Follow up with tender questionnaires and tender evaluation.
- Attendance of site/technical meetings.
- Arranging meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to review the specifications, scope of works and method of construction if required.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time.
- Time management skills to complete error-free work within the required timeframe
- Communication skills with an emphasis on reading and writing for creating documentation and reports.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Building Management Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of working experience in drafting/drawing, quantity surveying or related construction field for M&E projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Be independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and deliver timely.
- Required to work at project site.
