Private Wealth Management

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.


HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Ensure clients’ understanding of the account documentation requirement related to the Client Identification Program “CIP” and regulatory requirements during onboarding, maintenance, or remediation processes;
  • Act as a single point of contact for Sales teams and internal stakeholders to finalise documentary requirements before reaching out to external clients for CIP and regulatory related requests;
  • Ensure satisfactory client experience by providing exceptional support during the Client Identification Programme “CIP” rolling review exercise;
  • Develop expertise in the Firm’s Anti Money Laundering / Customer Identification due diligence policies
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of account documentation in accordance with firm policy and regulatory requirements;
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements.
  • Take ownership to ensure completion of CIP rolling review population within timelines

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience with previous CIP / AML roles
  • MAS CACS Paper 1 & 2 licensing preferred
  • Proficient in English & Mandarin (preferred) language skills because the role will liaise with both English & Chinese speaking external clients to understand the account documentation requirement during the onboarding processes and meet regulatory requirements
  • Highly motivated and results orientated
  • Have a high level of self-initiative to challenge and improve processes
  • Strong understanding of risk and control framework in operations
  • Has strong interpersonal skills to establish Business and Federation relationships
  • Able to manage multiple tasks or projects and manage deadlines effectively
  • Strong team player who is able to work under pressure
  • Previous client facing experience is preferred
