Shipping cum Admin Coordinator

As a Shipping cum Admin Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of shipments while contributing to the backbone of our administrative processes.


Job Highlights

- Walking distance from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station

- 8.30am to 5.30pm - 5 Days Work Week (Monday – Friday)

Roles & Responsibilities

- Oversee all shipping paperwork.

- Check and compare rates with various forwarders/ Carriers for best quote, obtain shipping schedules and book shipments.

- Communicate with stakeholders, monitor and tracking of shipment, including preparing of Export Permit.

- Arrange and communicate with internal and external parties’ inquiries via phone calls and emails in a timely and accurate manner. Handle the necessary job filing.

- Manage shipping documentation formalities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- To assist paper work and data entry to MYOB and generate invoices where necessary.

- Visit the warehouse monthly to supervise container stuffing and ensure that all orders are executed in an orderly and timely manner.

- Support in sourcing for new raw materials/new products as well as technology for operation improvement.


Job Requirements

- Minimum GCE A’ level or ITE Certificate

- Minimum 2 years' experience or background in supply chain will be an advantage.

- Well versed in export shipping procedures and documentation.

- Knowledge in Letter of Credit, declaration of Export Permit and Certificate of Origin will be beneficial but not a must.

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

- Independent worker with meticulous attention to detail.

- Good communication skills.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technology and software.
