We are seeking an experienced Accountant with expertise in full-cycle accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, including skills in financial analysis and intercompany reconciliations. The candidate should have a proven ability to manage stakeholders' expectations and provide advice based on accounting standards. Attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential qualities for the role.
Job descriptions:
- Oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet schedules on a monthly basis.
- Monitor and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing procedures.
- Develop and implement processes, transaction flows, and accounting treatments.
- Manage timely tax reporting, payments, and tax planning for efficiency.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain intercompany schedules.
- Review and consolidate cash flow reports.
- Coordinate audit schedule, address auditor queries, and prepare financial statements and schedules.
- Handle corporate secretarial matters and banking affairs.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as required by management.
Job requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity
- Experience with a full set of accounts and tax is a must.
- Experience in fast-growing start up and MNC environment would be advantageous
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to tackle complex challenges.
- Proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Demonstrated self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
