The Opportunity

The Marketing team is looking for a driven, creative and data-savvy marketer to help us grow. You will work closely with the Deputy Director for Marketing and PR to develop cross-channel campaigns, partnerships, and community development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns to drive attendee growth and generate quality leads for sponsorships and exhibitions, within defined timelines and budget constraints.
  • Manage the marketing database; perform segmentation studies to draw insights and develop data acquisition and data refresh plans for database growth.
  • Contribute to ongoing website updates and implement content marketing initiatives to enhance SEO and audience engagement.
  • Plan and manage social media content calendar to maintain a consistent and engaging online presence.
  • Write and proof marketing copy across various platforms including websites, social media, emails, and brochures.
  • Oversee the design, production, and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring branding consistency.
  • Collaborate with digital agencies to execute successful paid digital campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to enhance digital product offerings and delivery.
  • Continuously analyse marketing metrics to enhance campaign performance and maximise ROI.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively. Monitor expenses closely and identify opportunities for cost savings or reallocation.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies and messaging.
  • Build and manage relationships with external suppliers, agencies, and partners to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketig or related field.
  • Proven success in integrated marketing campaigns, preferably in B2B event marketing.
  • Regional marketing experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in database management and segmentation techniques.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Highly literate in digital marketing trends and practices including Google Analytics, SEO, PPC, and social media campaigns.
  • Strong English and copywriting skills for compelling content creation.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and marketing automation/CRM tools like Pardot, HubSpot, and Salesforce.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive projects independently.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making.
  • Critical thinking and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong time management skills for meeting tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality.
