Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for statutory audit, both interim and final, including XBRL filing
- Ensure compliance with accounting standard and Group reporting requirement
- Co-ordinates with Accounting Services team based in India to secure timely and accurate close of month-end activities
- Fixed assets capitalisation review, leased assets reconciliation and in-charge of fixed assets stocktake once every 2 years
- Provide information on employee exit clearance
- Submission of government statistical survey/data
- Attend to queries from TD/BAs, Group Accounting, auditor or tax agent
- Month-end closing activities and ensure on time management reporting
- Handles payment verification
- Balance sheet review in Blackline
- Maintenance of customer master data
- Support Chief Accountant in all SAP Master Finance hierarchy and reporting issues
- Monthly bonus/STI accruals and clear-down
- Any other ad hoc tasks or projects assigned
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent, preferably with audit experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in similar capacity
- Competence with FRS standards and annual new developments
- Hands on SAP accounting experience is advantageous
- Result oriented and with strong sense of responsibility to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural environment
- Meticulous, able to work independently and a good team player
