The Insights & intelligence team within KPMG Information Technology Services is dedicated to drive business value through data-driven solutions and innovative intelligence strategies. We are committed to delivering actionable insights and empowering informed decision-making across the organization.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing data analysis and delivering dashboards to provide business insights to the management team. As a member of the project team, you will collaborate with your team and stakeholders to discuss requirements, identify scope, analyse data and build dashboards / reports to address the business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of the data available in the various datasources
- Gathering business requirements from stakeholders
- Designing, testing and deployment of PowerBI dashboards and SSRS reports
- Preparation and delivery of scheduled reports with fixed templates
- Create and update system and process documentation
- Maintain, enhance, and upgrade systems
- Understand and adhere to policies and compliance requirements
- Provide ad-hoc support to various programmes and initiatives (e.g. internal audit, system checks)
Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a BI developer role.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field.
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in performing data analysis using Excel / PowerBI.
- Proficient with SQL Server database, Power Query, Power BI, paginated reports, data modeling and segmentation techniques
- Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex concepts in clear business terminology.
- Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
- Working experience in a fast paced environment.
