This position will be responsible for the Company’s accounting & finance function within the company, working with the Company’s Human Resource Leads, and reporting to the Head of Corporate Services.
Responsibilities:
- Handle full set accounts and preparation of monthly schedules.
- Perform Month-end closing of accounts and journals.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and FRS.
- Responsible for GST submissions.
- Prepare cashflow and bank reconciliation.
- Assist in Payroll, Claims, CPF submissions and Worker Levy submissions
- Assist in annual audit
- Liaise with banks and corporate secretary.
- Setting up and maintaining best-practice Financial controls e.g. document control and records keeping
- Work with Senior Management and functional Heads of Department on annual budgeting exercise and quarterly tracking of approved annual budget
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting & finance operations
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Familiarity with Singapore manpower laws e.g. CPF contributions and Worker Levies, and Financial/Accounting Regulatory guidelines and rules
- Self motivated and able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Working experience with cloud Accounting and HR systems such would be an advantage, or at minimum working with standard internet banking portal interfaces
- Collaborative and cooperative mindset to work with all disciplines in the Company
- Experience with working in a start-up environment will be highly advantageous
