Job Purpose:
- Assistant Manager for Ammonia Bunkering and STS Project.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in Business Development team acting for Vessel Safety supervision for Ammonia Bunkering vessel trial operations or similar projects.
- Quantitative risk assessment (QRA) analysis establishment, for safe Ammonia Pilot Bunkering on vessels.
- Assist in Hazard Identification, Screening, and evaluation for an ammonia bunkering pilot project.
- Assist in establishing Risk mitigation protocols for pilot Ammonia Bunkering.
- Carry pre vetting inspections, and able to coordinate with Flag state & Port state matters.
- Assist in Safe planning & safety execution of the Vessel Ammonia Bunkering operation, as per the given timelines.
- Working closely with the technical managers & operators, in ensuring the vessel optimum & safe turnaround. Review & evaluate SMS requirements for Ammonia bunkering with Ship Managers.
- Make safety recommendations on corrective & preventive actions, by providing expert opinions to stakeholders.
- Overseas & supervises the mobilization of all needed equipment & rigged as per plan.
- Perform Additional responsibilities & various projects as directed by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Seagoing experience as Master on LPG/ Ammonia Carriers & Ethane Carries. Preferably Dual Fuel Vessels.
- Minimum 3 years sea time on LPG vessel at senior ranks, Chief Officer / Master.
- Knowledge & experience of the STS operational guidelines, Ship Shore compatibility. Port operations, terminal & berthing operations & Offshore Bunkering procedure.
- Must possess commanding understanding of Ammonia & LPG operation as cargo from both Shipboard & Shore based perspectives.
- Working knowledge preferred in TMSA, OCIMF, and SIGTTO.
- Has experience with Oil majors risk assurance requirements.
