As an Assistant Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing equipment. Your responsibilities will include preventive maintenance, warranty repairs, emergency response, and efficient order management. Effective communication and technical expertise are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Support start-up, contract maintenance, and other service activities with a strong emphasis on safety and protection.
- Maintenance Excellence: Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Equipment Repair: Participate in the service and repair of personnel protection equipment, safety devices, and handle breakdown calls.
- Order Management: Efficiently manage orders from initiation to fulfillment, collaborating closely with the Service team.
- Effective Communication: Communicate technical information accurately and concisely to employees, customers, and external parties.
- Workplace Safety & Health: Fulfill responsibilities related to workplace safety and health as requested by the company.
Requirement
- Min. NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Related Experience
- Preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience in service/engineering position in similar industry.
- Those will more than 3 years’ experience will be considered for Service Engineer role.
- Good analytical and communication skill.
- Prior working experience with Breathing Appartus is an advantage.
- Able to undertake weekend or odd hours work when required.
- Customer service oriented.
