Job Description
- Lead and supervise a team of technical staff in the management and maintenance of high voltage electrical distribution systems within buildings.
- Spearhead electrical infrastructure projects designed to support the electrification of port equipment, with a focus on enhancing environmental sustainability the facility.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of new substations for development projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for optimizing power distribution efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical system design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to electrical engineering practices.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electrical infrastructure maintenance or design consultancy projects.
- Holders of Professional Engineering certification, Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) license, or high voltage switching authorization will have a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of high voltage electrical distribution systems and associated equipment.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
