About Our Client
Our Client is a private conglomerate that is looking to set up their supply chain team for their business within the hospitality industry. They are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to assist them and contribute in this area.
Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, your main responsibility includes procurement and management of the procurement function within F&B/hospitality industry. You are expected to have great communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders. This is an Individual Contributor role.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for Vendors selection, appointment, contract negotiation and overall relationship.
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors to get the best quality products at the most competitive prices.
- Provision of input and expertise in all relevant improvement and development projects.
- Ensure procurement is carried out in alignment to company's standards.
- Bears in-depth understanding of the F&B industry, including food trends, costing, and quality control.
- Excellent stakeholder management, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must be willing to travel.
The Successful Applicant
You must have a Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain or related fields, and a minimum of 8 years experience within the Hospitality/F&B industry, with exposure in setting up F&B establishments.
