Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) monthly closing and handle full sets of Accounts.
- Prepare journals & data entry
- Ensure timely closure of month-end and year-end accounts.
- Preparation of accounts schedules.
- Preparation and submission of GST returns quarterly.
- Assist in variance analysis, budgeting, management reporting, and inventory management.
- Preparation of financial statements for statutory & tax reporting
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and banks.
- Preparation of monthly management report.
- Other ad hoc administrative tasks assigned from time to time
- Location: Jurong Island
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent; ACCA .
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
- Previous experience with AS400 accounting system is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, develop of reporting accounting issues and recommending improvement.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
