The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and qualified General Practitioner (GP) to join our clinic located in Toa Payoh. As a neighbourhood anchor GP, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and continuing primary care to a diverse range of patients, from young children and families to adults and seniors. You will build strong relationships with patients within the community, fostering a trusting environment where they feel comfortable seeking medical advice. This is a well-established medical group in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnoses.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Provide preventative healthcare guidance, including immunisations, health screenings, and lifestyle advice.
- Maintain clear and accurate medical records electronically.
- Liaise with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS degree and valid registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
- Prior experience with hospitals, polyclinics, private clinics or health screening centres.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in general practice or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- A passion for preventative healthcare and patient education
- Medical Officers who recently completed their residency are welcome to apply.
