Summary
Responsible for identifying new leads/accounts/channels within the Chromatography products/territory markets and to meet/exceed the set goals. Be the contact point of communication supporting and resolving all accounts enquiries. Execute pre-sales and post sales activities.
Key accountabilities
Overall
- Responsible for orders and revenue growth of Chromatography products in Singapore.
- Develop and maintain good business partnership with all customers.
- Network actively with the scientific community to understand the current and future market trends.
Pre-sales (70%)
- Build funnels via account planning, mapping and data analysis to provide accurate forecast and sales strategy.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategy.
- Work with other sales members to ensure offerings of total solutions and presenting to new and existing customers.
- Understand market trends and competitive situation.
- Faithful in updating sales opportunity records in CRM/Salesforce.com.
Post sales (30%)
- Conduct training and responsible for collateral development, joint customer visits and regular communication.
- Conduct after sales activities by providing technical and software training, method set-up and responding to customers’ queries.
Requirements
- Degree specialized in Chemistry or related scientific disciplines / MBA / PhD.
- 3 to 5 years sales experiences in a related industry.
- Mix of technical field experiences and customer facing roles.
- Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated individual who can be a team player, assertive and result oriented with drive and high energy.
- Customer service oriented.
- Confident decision maker with good business acumen.
- Proficient in MS office and SFDC.
- Proficiency in QS3 usage is an added advantage.
- Proficient in training material development for internal and external use.
