We are looking for a motivated and self-driven person who enjoys working in a collaborative and dynamic environment, to be part of the LB Management team under the Sector Planning department in the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). This role will also provide you with opportunities to work with the preschool sector as well as engage internal as well as external stakeholders to co-create solutions.
Job Description
· Assist to conduct feasibility assessments, planning studies/research on design and planning of preschool infrastructure and outdoor learning spaces, related to the optimisation of resources and provision of accessible and quality preschool services;
· Assist in tracking and monitoring the development of preschool facilities – both quantitatively and qualitatively – to ensure the effective and timely provision of preschool infrastructure;
· Assist in working with other Ministries and Government agencies, as well as industry and community partners, to ensure realisation of plans; and
· Assist in carry out administrative tasks in areas of document preparation, data entry and extraction, CM processing including CM Funding Agreements and checking of invoices to facilitate grant disbursement.
Functional/Technical Competencies required
- Tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree) in Architecture/Design, Building or related disciplines;
- Interest in architecture/facilities design, and at least 2 years of relevant working experience will be an added advantage; and
- Quantitative skills
