Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain existing technologies for baseline yield / quality / reliability / cost improvement and support continuous yield enhancement activities.
- Work closely with fab Technology Development / Module process engineers to formulate and implement robust technical solutions for problems.
- Work with customers to understand and resolve issues to achieve benchmark yield and quality.
- Develop, characterise and validate in production new process modules and PDK for customers.
- Work with CompoundTek’s partners (local and overseas) to ensure successful delivery of goals to meet customer expectations.
- Use statistical tool knowledge (e.g. DOE, ANOVA, SPC) and systematic problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys) to determine root causes of issues as well as developing containment/corrective/preventive action plans.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum 5 year’s relevant experience in CMOS manufacturing environment in Process integration or Technology Development, preferably at 0.18um or more advanced technology
- Good understanding of CMOS process technology, device physics and semiconductor process modules.
- Prior experience in Silicon Photonics technology will be an advantage.
- Degree/Masters/PhD in Microelectronics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Science in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science or related field.
- More senior position will be offered if candidate posses more relevant experience and qualification
Additional Attributes:
- Willing to learn new niche technologies if necessary, including but not limited to Silicon Photonics technology.
- Good interpersonal and effective communication skills are required – written/oral comprehension, oral expression, speech clarity and deductive reasoning (ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense).
- Able to perform in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Must exhibit Initiative, ownership, accountability and a be team player.
