The Marketing Executive is responsible for elements for paid (SEM, Display, Social advertising) and owned (website optimisation) media channels for our industry leading company. Working in a small team, you understand our business data through in-depth analysis of all paid and owned media channels, make key recommendations towards our quarterly optimisation strategy as well as being one of the key drivers to drive execution of this strategy.
The quarterly strategy includes: a media plan, a testing and personalisation plan and an optimisation roadmap. To be successful in this role you will need to be a fast learner, excited by data and the story it can tell, a new age marketer that excels at both left & right brained thinking.
You will also work cross-functionally alongside a team of developers and designers in order to execute on the optimisation roadmap the analyst is comfortable working as part of a team.
The Marketing Executive is an entry level marketing role requiring an advanced analytics skill set. This position includes, but is not limited to, all of the following aspects:
Paid Media
- Advanced bid strategies and budget management
- Weekly performance reporting
- SEM optimisation (campaign structure, keyword builds, match types, harvesting, ad copy, sitelinks etc)
- Display optimisation (campaign structure, ad format testing, creative refresh)
- Social optimisation (campaign and ad set structure, ad copy, creative refresh, ad format testing
- Strategic recommendations for performance opportunities
Owned Media
- In-depth knowledge of website architecture, online business model and customer goals
- Weekly performance reporting
- Developing campaign plan documentation – outlining how the campaign will run, which segments will be tested and what the hypothesis of results are
- Quarterly assurance checks to confirm new experiences are ready to be set live
- Analysis and recommendations for when to conclude live campaigns this includes understanding the campaign lift, statistical confidence and current trends
