Salary: $15 - $16 per hour
Working Days: Monday - Friday
- Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 830am-6pm, Friday 830am-530pm
Location: City Hall
Contract Period: 6 +6 months contract, possibility of conversion to perm based on performance and business needs
Job Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end recruitment and internship functions, which includes liaising with stakeholders, posting of job advertisement, scheduling of interviews and on-boarding
- Manage logistics arrangement for recruitment and outreach events
- Create EDMs for internal staff communication
- Provide administrative support in reconciliation of physical files, updating of databases and maintenance of records
- Assist in ad hoc assignments
Job Requirements:
Functional/Technical Competencies
- Tertiary Education in Human Resource, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Prior HR experience in the public sector and familiarity with recruitment and/or employer branding will be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Generic Competencies
- Innovative individual who will think out of the box to find solutions for existing and anticipated problems
- A proactive attitude, results oriented and display strong multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines
- Meticulous and good organisational skills
- Able to multitask and work well independently and in teams.
