We are hiring for Project Electrical & Instrumental (E&I) Engineer and following is the Job Description:

The E&I project engineer is in charge of supervision of studies and works for design office activities, related to E&I topics, which includes but not limited as per described :

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

General

• Apply procedures for management of internal project, MOC implementation, in accordance with safety policies, plant policies and regulations
• Coordinate MOC implementation and participate in following up closely of MOCs /projects from operation, Maintenance, HSE, Process, contractors and various stakeholders.
• Maybe called upon duties of on call management
• If needed, support other technical departments within his trained skills, for major unexpected events
• Support the team in updating of process documentation or procedures
• Work in accordance to organization’s standards, processes and procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement activities ( eg. Process improvement of documentation processes)

Project

• Preparation of project deliverables and project implementation
• Estimation of project cost
• Conduct, in liaison with the other departments, the studies of the different phases of MOCs/project with a view to costing and schedule estimates and performances.
• Responsible for the execution of projects (organization of teams, planning, overall monitoring of achievements and KPIs such as expenses budget as well as site execution till closure ...).
• Review schedule, manpower planning of engaged parties / external engineers
• Participate in building investment budget, follow up closely on project costs.

Sub-contractors

• Supervise external engineering company and engineering contracts.
• Review & validate engineering documentations.
• Establish technical specifications, lead technical clarification, perform technical assessment of vendors / contractors.
• Develop craft engineering documents for use in procurement inquiries

HSEQ

• Ensure the application of standards, documents, regulations, HSEQ management systems in his/her activities.
• Ensure the achievement of HSEQ objectives in his/her activities.
• Ensure the definition, implementation and monitoring of HSEQ corrective actions in his/her activities.
• Conduct close monitoring of contractors to improve general performance to achieve Zero Accident

Education: Bachelor degree in an engineering school (mechanical, chemical, civil or equivalent) or Polytechnic diploma.

Knowledge:

• Experience in the design and installation of Electrical & Instrumentation
• Knowledge and experience with explosion proof electrical & instrument products & standard.
• Familiar with ABB systems (DCS/FGS/SIS)
• Proficiency with instrumentation technologies and analyser technologies
• Proficiency with IEC and Singapore standards
• Good knowledge of rules, standards, regulations and standards in instrumentation, IEC and Singapore standards
• CMMS (SAP or similar…)

Skills:

• Awareness of local & common engineering / construction regulation codes, engineering feasibility / Hazop / feed stud and detail design
