DVT / Senior Test Engineer
- Working day: Monday – Friday
- Working Hour: 8:30am - 6:15pm
- Salary range: S$5,500 - S$6,500
- Location: Woodlands
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with product development teams to understand design requirements and specifications for the product.
- Design and implement test strategies and plans to validate the performance, functionality, and safety of the integrated hardware (mechanical and electrical controls) and software components.
- Develop and execute test protocols and procedures for functional, regression, and system- level testing.
- Conduct hands-on testing of the machine in both controlled laboratory settings and real-world operational environments.
- Utilize a combination of manual testing and test automation tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and work closely with design engineers to resolve them.
- Analyses test results and generate comprehensive reports documenting findings, issues, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in testing and verification of complex systems, ideally involving integrated hardware (mechanical and electrical) and software.
- Strong understanding of mechatronics, electronics, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Experience with hardware testing tools and equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, data loggers, etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, etc.) for test automation.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools (e.g., test management software, version control systems).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to machine safety and performance (e.g., ISO, IEC standards).
