What You’ll Do
- Produce full range of pastries, cakes, and other doughs using recipe specifications;
- Manage pastry team including engaging in training, ensuring compliance with SOP, roster organisation, boosting staff morale, resolving conflicts, taking disciplinary actions etc;
- Control and direct food preparation process (including developing menu ideas, controlling food inventory levels etc.);
- Minimise wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items;
- Ensure consistent food standards in a fast-paced environment;
- Ensure kitchen is kept clean and exceeds food safety standards;
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of pastry or kitchen team management experience
- At least 2 years of high volume pastry and dessert setting experience
- Must have strong pastry and dessert baking knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
