This position is for IMI Critical Engineering (APAC) Pte Ltd. based in Singapore and reports to Finance Director for SE- Asia Pacific/ Taiwan (SEAPT).
Responsibilities
- Ownership of full credit management cycle within SEAPT including the invoicing, tracking and communication with customers & internal teams like sales and operations, and the collection processes
- Involve in billing of intercompany charges and billings
- Daily updating of actual cash proceeds
- Forecast the cash collection, and to drive collection performance with other teams, and to forecast the weekly and monthly forecasted collections
- Verification of final invoices with supporting
- Manage the bi-annual 3rd party credit limit on existing non-intercompany credit customers with support of 3rd party credit report, and to discuss with sales and finance director on any credit adjustment
- Work with sales team with regards to setting up of new customer account with credit analysis and proposed credit limit
- Handle the month-end & quarter-end financial closing, reporting & reconciliation process in IFS with regards to Accounts Receivable & Debtors’
- To work with other teams and customers to resolve any operational issue which might cause a delay in collections
- To manage the trade payment tools like Bank Guarantee & Letter of Credit, and to work with HSBC bank and customers for successful execution
- Perform month-end financial closing and management reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Manage tax and transfer pricing reporting
- Involve in continuous improvement projects
- Comply to internal controls and assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- To support the finance team & management as and when in need
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess at least a Diploma in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- With at least 3 years of credit & AR management and trade tools like BG & LC
- Experience in doing simple full set of accounts up to TB
- Experience in IFS/ SAP, ERP system or similar
