Director of Marketing and Business Development

Responsibilities:


Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company’s new energy solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events, etc.).
  • Develop branding initiatives to enhance the company’s market presence and reputation.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in the new energy sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and market analysis to support business expansion decisions.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, contracts, and agreements.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders and address their needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Train and support the sales team to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business.

Digital Marketing and Analytics:

  • Oversee the company’s digital marketing efforts, including website, social media, and online advertising.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Implement SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing techniques to increase online visibility and engagement.

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute marketing events, such as trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, and promotion.
  • Represent the company at industry events to build networks and promote business.

Product Marketing:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  • Create marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and case studies.
  • Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and clients.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenses and report on budget performance to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is highly desirable.
  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing and business development, preferably in the new energy sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and business development strategies.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
  • Strong background in sales and revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy technologies.
  • Familiarity with market research techniques and data analysis.
  • Understanding of branding, advertising, and promotional strategies.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to marketing and business development.
