Training Curriculum Development: Designing and developing training programs and materials for drone pilots, including instructional manuals, presentations, and practical exercises
Instruction: Delivering classroom lectures, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions to teach trainees about drone operation, flight regulations, safety procedures, and best practice
Flight Simulation: Utilizing drone flight simulators to provide trainees with realistic flying experiences in a controlled environment before they operate actual drone
Flight Training: Conducting field training sessions to supervise trainees as they practice flying drones, providing guidance, feedback, and corrective instruction to help them improve their piloting skills.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that trainees are familiar with and adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing drone operation, including airspace restrictions and licensing requirements
Safety Management: Emphasizing the importance of safety procedures and risk management strategies to prevent accidents and minimize liability, both during training exercises and in real-world scenarios
Skill Assessment: Assessing trainees' proficiency and competency in drone piloting through written exams, practical assessments, and flight evaluations, and providing constructive feedback for improvement
Continuing Education: Staying updated on advancements in drone technology, regulations, and industry best practices, and incorporating new knowledge and skills into training programs to ensure their relevance and effectiveness
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of training activities, including attendance, performance evaluations, and any incidents or accidents, and generating reports for management and regulatory purposes
Professional Development: Engaging in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending workshops, obtaining certifications, and networking with other drone professionals, to enhance teaching skills and stay current in the field.
Job Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of work experience would be preferred
- Diploma in engineering or business or equivalent
- Proficient in English both written and spoken
- Able to conduct training lessons
- Able to conduct training delivery
- Able to come up with training lesson plan, training cirriculum, and build rapport with trainees and clients/organizations
- Able to communicate well
- Demonstrate ability to work well in a team
