Job Description
Responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential property. This role involves ensuring the properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and meeting the needs of residents and stakeholders.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-presented.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance works, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns and requests promptly.
- Handle residents’ inquiries, complaints, and emergencies, providing effective solutions.
- Ensure the property complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
- Manage and maintain proper documentation and records for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Implement and oversee safety and security protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of property management activities, including maintenance logs, tenant communications, and financial transactions.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Property Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas and minutes for management committee meetings.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Real Estate Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in property management or a related role
- Well versed in the BMSMA Act.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
