Summary
You will work with various IT desktop technologies, including BT Turret, Cisco IP Telephony, and Bloomberg, specifically for trade floor IT support. Providing excellent customer service is essential as you address all IT-related issues. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial for managing unexpected situations and multitasking. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to lead projects aimed at enhancing business services, which will help you grow your IT knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
- Responds to employee enquiries, providing support on hardware and software issues.
- Keep communication with the employee open to avoid any misunderstandings.
- Work closely with the regional team to ensure that group practices and standards are followed.
- Follow the IT Policy and Procedures; comply with all internal and external regulations.
- Work closely with external vendors for the best interest of our company.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 years of IT support experience within the financial services industry.
- Experience in supporting voice system (BT Turret or Cisco IP Telephony) is preferred.
- Network and Data Centre operation experience is favourable.
- Experience in trading floor support
- Strong vendor management skills required.
- Have the ability to work as part of the team whilst also being comfortable to work without supervision.
- Able to absorb and retain information quickly.
