Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented Network Engineer to join our client's Network team. The ideal candidates will contribute to building a state-of-the-art Network Center and capabilities that will power the future of our platform.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preconfiguration and staging of network equipment.
- Deploy and implement network equipment onsite, including routers, firewalls, switches, ONTs, and wireless access points, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients.
- Troubleshoot issues during deployment onsite.
- Provide technical guidance and advice to the project management team for problem resolution.
- Prepare documentation such as User Acceptance Test (UAT) reports, Site Acquisition Reports, and Site Survey Reports with network diagrams.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent certification such as CCNA or CCNP.
- Additional certifications in Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, or Juniper are advantageous.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in deploying WAN, LAN, and WLAN network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, and Fortinet.
- Proficient in networking principles, routing, and switching.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in performing site surveys and network design is beneficial.
- Familiarity with fiber optics, cross-connects, or data center connectivity is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to support onsite deployments outside of regular office hours and be on standby as needed.
