Main tasks of the role:
- Owner of automation equipment software components
- Support Operations analysis of problems, define enhancements for automation equipment software
- Vendor interface to drive for software improvement/ change requests
- IT interface to support creation/ change of virtual servers, databases, wireless access, custom endpoints etc.
- Troubleshoot problems and direct to and align with vendor/IT in order to find/solve root cause
- Conduct data analysis and develop web based applications& systems to resolve daily challenges and improve operation performance
- Support project team in new automation equipment software development and testing
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering
- Experience in Windows/Linux Server platforms/ Windows Client platform
- Experience with Databases (Oracle, MS SQL)
- Knowledge in CIM area, SECS/GEM protocol, Data analytics, Digitalization tools
- Ability in programming, preferably Python to analyse data and construct prototype is highly preferred
- Able to team up with stakeholders to achieve best results
