KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports Group Finance relevant teams, working closely with multiple Business Units, and Store Support Center stakeholders across the Group, any upstream and downstream business processes related to Finance function activities to: Develop group processes, standard operating procedures or automated solutions, Ensure that approved business requirements are properly executed, Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are properly documented and maintained.
- Identify process for improvement and potential cost savings where applicable.
- Implement efficient process changes that are consistent with best practice.
- Work with different Finance teams on Finance related systems, by understanding the process flow, functionalities, and limitations (if any).
- Support local BAU Teams as and when required for local systems special incidents reporting and help with resolution/escalation.
- Ensure implemented finance system/processes follow established policies and standard operating procedure.
- Project area of work involves the following:
- Assigned Project tasks to be delivered as per Project timeline requirement
- Collect and consolidate information related to Finance project initiatives
- To maintain project documentation timely and accurately
- Develop and maintain User Acceptance Testing / End User Training materials
- Organize and facilitate User Acceptance Testing / End User Training sessions
- Identify and escalate project risks and issues immediately to Project Managers/Sponsors
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Degree in Business/Finance Studies. Some basic accounting/financial knowledge will be preferred.
- Proficient in using MS Excel, MS Words, MS PowerPoint and Visio
- Knowledge of SAP Retail or FI or CO modules, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), E-Workflow process design will be highly considered
- Minimum 1-2 years of past experience in Retail or FMCG industry, with Project Management skills, Knowledge in Operating Finance’s Processes on PTP/OTC/RTR areas and/or Participated in process improvement projects and/or Finance related system implementation.
