Project Manager (Marine and Offshore Engineering Design)

Job Responsibilities

1. Coordinate internal resources, third parties/vendors and client for the flawless execution of projects.
2. Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, with good quality control and within scope and budget.
3. Assist in the definition of project scope & objectives and ensuring technical feasibility.
4. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
5. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
6. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
7. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
8. Report and escalate to management as needed.
9. Manage the relationship with the client and all parties.
10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
11. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
13. Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of project.
14. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
15. Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.

Job Requirements

1. Proven working experience in project management, managed multi-disciplinary design projects involving at least 30 participants.
2. Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
3. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
4. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
5. Competent in speaking and writing mandarin with our Chinese Colleagues in China.
6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
7. Must have at least 10 years of working experience from the Oil & Gas, Construction for Marine industry.
8. High Proficient in Navisworks, AutoCAD & MS Office Word and Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
9. Preferable if able to use project planning software, such as Primavera P6, MS Planner etc.
10. Able to station in China, If required by the project.
11. Able to travel, if required.
