We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer (Fire Alarm and Protection Systems) to join our team. The Site Engineer will be responsible for Fire Alarm and Prevention Systems ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Coordinate with Internal Stakeholders, Clients, QP, PM, and suppliers to develop project schedules and resource plans.
- Conduct site surveys, site preparation, and execution of all activities as needed.
- Lead all fire alarm and protection installation and maintenance activities.
- Implement quality control measures to monitor workmanship and materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct inspections and audits if required.
- Manage project budgets and expenses, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements, implementing measures to minimize environmental impact.
- Provide leadership and manage at least 12 workers, technicians, supervisors, etc.
Requirement:
- Minimum Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in fire alarm and fire protection systems, (Conventional, Addressable systems, and all relevant Mechanical and Protection Systems).
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm and protection installation processes, materials, and techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with environmental regulations and safety standards is preferred.
