In this position as a Shield Claims Specialist, you will be expected to review, assess and approve shield claims within service turnaround time and also act as a mentor for the existing team. You will be reporting to the Head of Shield Claims and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the output is accurate and compliant to internal policy and regulatory requirements and meet service objectives.
Your day to day duties would include managing claims investigation, attending to service recovery, complaint, appeal, enquiry and conducting medical claims technical workshops for agency forces. The ideal incumbent will be involved in identifying process shortcomings and implement improvement and managing working relation with external stakeholders such as CPFB, auditor, regulator and agencies.

skills and experience required
- Strong team player with excellent leadership quality
- Good knowledge of hospital admission, discharge and claims processes
- Former medical practitioner experience such as doctor, nurse, health therapist or health-care provider will be an added advantage
- 7+ years of experience in claims operations with focus in Shield Claims
- LOMA certified or equivalent
