Responsibilities
Would be responsible to interact with the business users directly to understand the functional business requirements.
Would be responsible to study the business requirement and analyze how the requirement can be incorporated in the application.
Would be responsible to document the functional requirements and prepare the functional specifications.
Would be responsible for effective effort estimation and planning.
Would be responsible for participation in end to end functional analysis.
Would be responsible to conduct walkthroughs with Business, development, testing and other stakeholders and get signoffs on the functional specifications.
Would be responsible to closely work with Development and Testing teams to resolve their queries.
Would be responsible to create high level test scenarios and monitor test cases / test results of the testing team.
Would be responsible for conducting Application Demos to business users.
Would act as L3 support for production issues / queries as required.
Should be comfortable and open to work with Onsite stakeholders.
Essential Technical Knowledge / Skills:
- Good communication and capacity to work with different teams (Ops, end users and IT dev teams)
- Good knowledge of the Trade Finance products [Letter of credit , Guarantees etc] and process & supply chain if possible.
- The BA must be able to understand a functional requirement and specify a mapping (table, data)
- Worked on Agile / Scrum frame work
- Ability to develop Query/ SQL scripts to analyze data
- Worked on applications catering Trade finance products [LC’s , Guarantees] , and the data models. Ability to document Data dictionaries.
