about the job
- Design Energy Storage Systems to meet load profiles requirements set out in the technical requirements;
- Develop battery container layouts and different enclosure type solutions and coordinate timely with the electrical, civil and PV engineering team
- Provide recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection;
- Perform complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles;
- Develop single-line and three-line diagrams with required electrical details for the battery system
- Model energy storage system performance, coordinate, obtain and integrate BMS, EMS and SCADA designs for the battery system from third party monitoring companies;
- Develop technical specifications and scopes of work for owners, engineering firms and contractors.
- Identify and quantify energy conservation opportunities associated with Batteries / PCS / HVAC / FFS for different enclosure systems;
- Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing or Business development;
- Support multiple projects on the complex technical challenges;
job requirement
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the areas of Renewable Energy Systems, preferably with a specialization in power systems, Solar PV, Battery Storage, Wind Energy Systems;
- ***Must be experienced in designing battery or energy storage systems
- Experienced with AutoCAD
