I am representing a leading online gaming company with a strong presence within the region and has since established a well-known gaming catalog to people of all ages. They are always seeking ways to be ahead of the bell curve in terms of new gaming trends and innovations, technological trends such as AI.
Hence they are looking for a Strategic Planning Manager to analyze the latest trends and development within the industry and work closely with senior management to identify improvement and growth opportunities.
About the job
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, your responsibilities would includes
- You would work closely with senior management to strategize business strategies for the gaming business aided by having a strong passion for PC, Mobile gamings and new technological trends such as AI
- This is done by working closely with project teams to conduct in-depth market research & analysis to uncover emerging trends , potential markets and untapped opportunities within the market
- These information and insights will aid in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and action plans to drive division”s market positioning and industry competitive advantage
- You would also assist in identifying potential issues and escalating it via SOP in order to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Work closely with the cross functional teams to monitor and analyze market performance metrics, such as market share, customer satisfaction, and project success rates, to identify areas for improvement and provide appropriate recommendations
Skills and experience required
- Min 5 years of relevant strategic planning working experience, ideally with consulting background
- Passionate about the gaming industry to understand organizational”s targeted audiences and latest technological trends and innovations such as AI and its potential impact on gaming
- You should be an effective communicator and able to convey ideas clearly and confidently to people of all levels and with strong critical thinking / problem solving traits
