Job Responsibilities
- Perform and certify for routine checks and defects rectification on Boeing 787, 767 and 777 aircraft maintenance tasks.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and/or engines.
- Solving issues related to quality and safety.
- Maintain a high level standard of airworthiness when performing inspections and maintenance.
- Inspect finished work, operation/functional tests and aircraft defect rectification.
- Sign-off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release.
- Co-ordinate maintenance service with relevant maintenance service provider, where necessary.
- Report to headquarter in Tokyo on regular basis to update on maintenance process and issues.
- Manage and maintain tools & equipment store.
- Support and perform maintenance engineer duties in overseas stations, where necessary.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related professional field in aircraft maintenance from an accredited university.
- Possess aircraft maintenance license and an expert with excellent aircraft engineering and maintenance knowledge for Boeing 787, 767 and 777.
- Possess more than 25 years of airline engineering experiences in the aviation industry.
- Possess qualified certification from Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) is highly recommended as part of civil aviation regulations requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office such as Word and Excel for reporting and communication with Head office in Tokyo.
- Proficiency in English as well as Japanese for communication including writing, reading, listening and speaking so as to make coordination with Head office in Tokyo.
- Strong ability to work under pressure due to time sensitive maintenance situation.
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pro-active and self-motivated individual who works well independently.
