- Conduct comprehensive inspections on the assembly or production line, ensuring adherence to standards and customer requirements using industry-appropriate methods, including specification comparison, dimensional measurement, and functionality examination.
- Enforce compliance with good manufacturing and hygienic practices among food handlers, promptly reporting any noncompliance.
- Monitor and address temperature and humidity in production rooms, coordinating with contractors when necessary.
- Manage the calibration and verification of measuring equipment within the organization.
- Supervise the production equipment, promptly removing any that do not meet safety requirements.
- Monitor and manage in-process critical control points (HACCP) during production.
- Coordinate or conduct external quality analysis of products and water, including sensory evaluation, physicochemical, and microbiological analyses.
- Ensure continuous implementation of standard sanitation procedures and maintain the availability of cleaning materials.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to processed items, ensuring the verification and closure of identified corrective actions.
- Control and maintain all necessary documented information required by the organization, FSSC, SFA and HALAL
- Analyze and compare information to evaluate the materials, product, and equipment capability to meet industry specifications, generating reports for involved departments.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures for continuous improvement and perform other ad-hoc functions as assigned.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma on Food Technology, Food Science, Biology, and other related fields with 1 to 2 years’ experience in the meat industry.
- Can withstand cold temperature and stand for long periods of time
- Knowledgeable in GMP, HACCP, SFA, HALAL and Food Quality and Safety Management Requirements.
- Not allergic or sensitive to food as sensory evaluation may require.
- Computer literate
- Display a positive attitude towards learning
- Work well under pressure and have no qualms assuming additional responsibilities
